Smoking ban
The smoking ban came into force in England on 1 July 2007, following Wales on 2 April 2007, Northern Ireland on 30 April 2007 and Scotland in 2006.
In England, Northern Ireland and Wales the ban applies to any vehicle used for work, regardless of whether it is a hgv, a delivery van or company car and includes sleeper cabs
No smoking signs are required by law to be posted inside vehicles.
